When his debut album received two W.C. Handy Award nominations in 2004 (equivalent to a Grammy in the Americana / Roots / Blues Genre) for Acoustic Album Of The Year and Best New Artist, Mark Lemhouse came to national recognition as an outstanding songwriter and guitarist. He's performed as a main stage act at festivals across the country such as the New Orleans Heritage Festival, the Portland Waterfront Festival and the Howlin' Wolf Memorial Festival, played hundreds of concerts in America and Europe, and been featured on PBS as a musician of true merit. Slackertone is pleased to have him join our family of artists. He's currently busy in the studio recording his next highly anticipated musical statement; Banjo Headphone Masterpiece.
